IN THE poiZONE

So this is the ADSR project. For the poizone lead I made Osc A a pulse wave, I detuned and Upped the pitch on Osc B. For the Attack I put it just below half way and it made it kinda sorta sound like a marimba. I was really happy with it :D Next I made a drum beat. I took the beat from the song Your Betrayal by Bullet For My Valentine. Then I made the PoiZone Lead part over that in C. Put some chords in the background, E, A, and A. And then for the second section I made a Slayer Guitar copy the drum pattern. I then made a little break type section with the drum just going every beat with a bass hit and the PoiZone going on the same pattern. Then I put the Synth back in. After this break I cut both the Synth and PoiZone out. I had the beat keep going on drums and then I added a breakdown-ish section with a new pattern on guitar. I bring back the synth after one time through the pattern. I also made the PoiZone fill in the empty space in the breakdown parts. I finally had it fade out at the end. I. Did. This. SOOOO. Fast. I am proud of how it came out for 2 days work on it and the post. Music Tech has been fun, thanks Rabuse, probably gonna be taking Guitar Ensemble next year. Looking forward to that :D

I WUB YOU ALL!

So this is the dubstep project. And just to get one thing clear. I don't like dubstep very much. So what I did was make a half time drum pattern going kick, snare to start the song. Also I made a synth lead that plays though out most of the song with Sytrus. Then I added the wobble bass and it's automation clip. I had to mess around alot to get the wubs going at the speed I wanted in most of this song. I made a few patterns for the wobble and then fixed them up with automation. The other drum loop I had was the same Kick snare pattern but filled in with hat hits. At what I thought was the end of the song originally I added a pattern from the PoiZone plugin and it didn't sound finished so naturally I added a tri-tone and added the wobble back for a few more measures. Then ended the song. Sorry this post isn't as detailed as some of my others. Anyway, I think this came out pretty good so ENJOY :D
